Josh Brandt is a Partner with Sagard Credit, and has been at Sagard since 2020. As one of the leaders of Sagard Credit, Josh invests in credit opportunities in the North American middle market and manages all aspects of the investment process, including due diligence and portfolio management. Within the current investment portfolio, he serves as a board observer of Buspatrol and Church’s Chicken. He is based in New York, United States.
Prior to Sagard, Josh was a Partner and Managing Director at Garrison Investment Group, where he most recently served as Head of Corporate Special Situations. During his tenure at Garrison, Josh served on the boards of companies across a broad range of industries, in addition to serving on the firm’s investment committees. Prior to joining Garrison in 2008, Josh worked at CastleHill Investment Management and Lehman Brothers. He is experienced in private credit, restructuring, special situation investing and private equity.
Josh holds a B.A. in English from Columbia University where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
