Monica Wang is a Manager, Fund Accounting at Sagard and joined the firm in 2021. Monica is responsible for day-to-day fund operations, NAV calculations, and the accounting of capital activities for Sagard Credit Partners, Sagard Private Equity Canada, and Sagard Healthcare Royalty Partners. Monica is a member of the Finance team and is based in Toronto, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Monica was a Manager, Private Equity Accounting at Manulife where she was overseeing the accounting and the daily operations of two big infrastructure private equity funds with total AUM of 4B. She also facilitated the implementation of partnership accounting system to the Manulife private market division.
Monica holds a B.Com. from University of Toronto and a Master of Finance degree from Queen’s University.
