Ali Rattani is a Manager, Corporate Accounting at Sagard and joined the firm in 2022. Ali is responsible to lead the financial and accounting process for all the global management company entities including accounting for complex structures in the private equity and alternative asset space and the preparation of financial statements. Ali is a member of the finance team and is based in Ottawa, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Ali worked as a Manager, Financial Reporting and Consolidation, leading the public reporting and complex accounting for Minto Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust. Ali has also served as a compliance officer at Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada and worked at KPMG and EY where he led external audit engagements of public and private companies in different industries.
Ali is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
