Sophia Hassar is an Executive Assistant at Sagard and joined the firm in 2021. Sophia is responsible for supporting Marie-Claude Boisvert, Head of Private Equity Canada and her team. Sophia is a member of the Private Equity team and is based in Montreal, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Sophia was an Executive Assistant to the President and Project Coordinator at Nespresso Canada, a fast-paced environment with a double-digit growth. During the last 8 year, Sophia was supporting the Nespresso Canada President on all aspects of his responsibilities (admin to strategy) and at different levels, his Management Committee (Directors) and was working on specific project missions (e.g: HR projects) while maintaining confidentiality. She was mastering the full management of National events (Town halls, off sites, operations meetings, etc.), as well as the Communication annual calendar for the General Management. She also managed the entire Nespresso Canada Head Office project move (20 months) by initiating Real Estate meetings in the facilities search, obtaining accurate information regarding the Market benchmark and everything related to the needs & Nestlé standards.
Sophia holds a B.A in Religion Science and Immigration and Interethnic relations from Université du Québec à Montréal.
