Charlotte Goyer is a Senior Legal Counsel at Sagard and joined the firm in 2023. Charlotte is primarily responsible for supporting the venture capital and growth strategies at Sagard. Charlotte advises on the structuring of private funds, including with respect to fundraising and ongoing obligations to investors, and venture financings. Charlotte is based in Montreal, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Charlotte was a Senior Legal Counsel at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, where she advised and supported the investment teams in venture capital, private equity and mergers and acquisitions matters.
Charlotte holds a BA in History and International Relations from McGill University and a LLB from Université de Montréal. She is a member of the Québec Bar. Charlotte currently serves on the board of Fondation Le Chaînon, a non-profit organization that financially supports Le Chaînon in its mission to provide shelter and assistance to women in difficult circumstances.
