Frederik Schulz is a Research Associate at Portage and joined the firm in 2023. Frederik is responsible for market and investment research as well as assisting in investment operations. Frederik is a member of the Research team and is based in Toronto, Canada.
Prior to Portage, Frederik worked at McKinsey & Company as a graduate analyst and focused on value creation topics related to M&A and corporate finance. Before that, he interned in the deal advisory practice of KPMG Germany and supported the preparation of a restructuring concept of a multinational industrials company. Frederik also interned at a small real estate company in Calgary where he performed market research and performed cash-flow forecasting. Before that, he was an intern at UniCredit’s corporate and investment bank where he covered multinational corporates in the energy, consumer goods, and industrial sector.
Frederik holds a B.Com from the University of Calgary.
