Guillaume Marion is a Partner at Sagard, where he leads relationships with institutions, family offices, and entrepreneurs in Quebec. Previously, he served as COO/CFO and chair of the investment committee of Sagard’s venture builder, Diagram, where he played a key role in scaling the platform from one fund and two incubated companies to five funds and more than 20 ventures, creating over 1,500 jobs and generating more than $1.5 billion in shareholder value.
With over 20 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and investment banking across Canada and Europe, he brings a deep multi-asset and global perspective. He holds degrees from London Business School and HEC Montréal and is both a CFA and CAIA charterholder. He is actively engaged in his community, serving on non-profit boards spanning culture, public policy, and private capital, and enjoys tennis and triathlons.
