Jaami Shariff is an Associate, Investor Relations at Sagard and joined the firm in 2023. He is responsible for all aspects of investor relations at the firm, including the management of investor reporting, fundraising, due diligence, and other related matters across each of Sagard’s businesses and strategies. Jaami is based in Toronto, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Jaami served as an Associate at CIBC Capital Markets, supporting the Equity Derivative and Structured Rates desks, where he monitored the execution of various types of institutionally traded derivative products. He began his career at CIBC Mellon, focusing on the firm’s liquidity and deposit insurance coverage.
Jaami holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with a specialization in Finance & Economics) from the University of Toronto, Rotman Commerce.
