John Clark is part of the Sagard Private Equity Solutions Executive Committee. Prior to joining SPES, Mr. Clark was a Portfolio Manager in the General Motors Investment Management (GMIMCo) Private Equity Group. Prior to joining GMIMCo in 1998, Mr. Clark managed private equity and debt investments for MetLife for almost ten years. As a Director of MetLife’s private equity group, he managed certain direct and majority-owned equity investments, as well as domestic fund sponsor relationships. Prior to this, he was a Senior Accountant at KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Clark is a member of the CFA Institute, and received his undergraduate degree and his MBA from Brigham Young University.
