John Clark is Managing Partner at Sagard Private Equity Solutions (SPES) and a member of its Executive Committee.
Prior to joining SPES, John was President and co-founder of Performance Equity Management (PEM), which entered into a strategic transaction with Sagard in 2024. Prior to joining PEM in 2005, John was a Portfolio Manager in the General Motors Investment Management (GMIMCo) Private Equity Group. Prior to joining GMIMCo in 1998, he managed private equity and debt investments for MetLife for almost ten years. Prior to this, he was a Senior Accountant at KPMG Peat Marwick.
John is a member of the CFA Institute and received both his undergraduate degree and MBA from Brigham Young University.
