Lawrence Rusoff is a Managing Partner of Sagard Private Equity Solutions and a member of the Executive Committee for both Sagard and Sagard Private Equity Solutions, as well as the Private Equity Investment Committee.

Lawrence joined Performance Equity Management, now part of Sagard Private Equity Solutions, in 2005. Prior to joining Sagard, he was a Portfolio Manager in Private Equity at General Motors Investment Management Corporation. Before joining General Motors Investment Management Corporation in 1996, Lawrence worked in the Treasurer’s Office of General Motors, where he helped manage the corporation’s debt and derivatives portfolio. He began his finance career at Salomon Brothers, Inc.

Lawrence is a member of the CFA Institute. He is also a member of the Cornell University Endowment’s Investment Committee and Markets & Applied Research Subcommittee. He previously served as Chairman of the Cornell University Endowment’s Private Equity Subcommittee and was a member of ILPA’s Private Equity Industry Guidelines Group. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Blythedale Children’s Hospital.

Lawrence received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
