Kait McCann is a Principal and the Head of Origination for Sagard Credit. She joined the firm in 2022. As Head of Origination for Sagard Credit, Kait leads Sagard’s efforts in sourcing and syndicating new credit transactions across senior lending, opportunistic credit and the structured finance asset classes. She is currently based in New York, United States.
Prior to Sagard, Kait advised and invested in startups in Australia, consulted for law firm Herbert Smith Freehills on scaling a new business development initiative, and led corporate development and operational projects for two Australian portfolio companies of Trimantium Capital. She has previously also worked as a Proposal Editor at SpaceX, coordinating and writing proposals for commercial and government rocket launches. She began her career at JPMorgan in New York, where she spent approx. seven years in the investment bank, including over five years in Leveraged Finance across both the Originations and Capital Markets teams.
Kait holds a Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) with a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing, from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.
