Rik Battey has served as a Partner at Sagard in Europe since 2002. As a member of the Sagard MidCap investment team and Investment Committee, Rik invests in middle market opportunities focused on transformational growth companies located in Europe and plays an active role in originating and executing deals, as well as in tracking investment performance. Rik is also responsible for investor relations. He is based in Paris.
Prior to Sagard, Rik was a Director in the Transaction Services Department at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he spent 11 years. There, he worked on a long series of complex international transactions, many of them large LBO deals in Europe.
He holds a B.Sc. in European Business Studies from Swansea University (United Kingdom) and is a UK Chartered Accountant.
